MacBook firmware

Quickie here,

Everyone keeps saying a firmware update will fix some problems (heat/moo). I have a new MacBook - is it already running the latest firmware? how can I tell? On apple's page, I can't find any -MacBook- firmware upgrades - just MBP and others.

As of today, there are no firmware updates for the MB. Yours has the current (and only) firmware release.
