I had a MB core duo and then was forced to get a new one after I broke it, but this time it was a core 2 duo. I moved the old HD into my new C2D just a few minutes ago. All of my data is there but it's acting really strange. One, it takes a long time to boot up (a little over 70 seconds); Two, the trackpad is weird because it won't let me scroll or right click, and there's no trackpad tab in system prefs; and three, I wasn't able to connect to the internet via airport. I just got a message saying "No Airport Hardware Found." I checked for updates and repaired permissions and it's still weird. Can anyone help me fix these problems?

Oh and I just noticed that the brightness and volume buttons do not work.....:(

You should archive and install your system using the discs that came with the new C2D MacBook.

sounds good! I'll have to wait until tomorrow though, since I'm visiting home right now and the box is in my dorm at school.
