MacBook iSight is poooooooor quality

To be honest its a quarter inch by quarter inch lens. really is anyone expecting anything fantastic. Its better than any phone camera i've seen. I'm sure its not GREAT but, its not bad and i wasn't expecting great.

Isight is HQ!!!

Go to Macally's website and download the icecam driver. Install it, and it will install the "webcam viewer" using that, it cranks the isight up to 1600x1200 pixels on "full size" and VGA on 1/2 size. Looks like Apple limited the isight's capabilities so that it actually worked in streaming video. I made a couple second video and to no supprise, its 90 megs. But it looks really good!
