    Hi Folks,

As recommended here on the forum I bought my mini displayport-DVI adapter from monoprice and it works like a charm. My wifes macbook is now playing movies on the TV.

On problem though, as soon as the mini displayport plug is plugged in the wireless throughput goes to squat. Litterally zero although the signal strength shows maximum.

This is not ideal for streaming and worries me as I plan to buy a mac mini for HTPC and plan to use the same mini displayport adapter and will need to use WIFI.

I haven't had time to extensively troubleshoot this, but I did find I wasn't the only one with this problem. This person also had trouble.

I will attempt their work around but I am worried about a systemic problem as I said with a soon to be purchased mac mini.

Has anyone else run into this issue?
