I have two PCs in my house, one in my parents room and 1 in a living room, which my brother uses.

I have a labtop in my room, its going pretty much down hill.

Would like to purchase my first imac. Something different in the house hold.

No gamming what so ever, i dont need the whole fancy works.
No serious photo or video editing. Not use for school.
Just a basic computer to search the web, DL music, burn cds, watch videos online etc...
Just a personal computer for my room.

Thinking about getting a 24" Imac refurb (might be to little big for me, but i'm sure its worth it)

Or a Macbook, but the screen is so small!
I can't think of anywhere i would bring it around....

    Thanks

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)

how old are u? I ask this because it might help give you advice.

Anyway I say MacBook + external monitor. The MacBook will be great for times when you wanna browse on the couch or in bed, but is powerful and can be hooked up to a screen. You wouldn't regret having a portable.

Oh and of course wait till 14th for the MacBook update!
