macbook pro can't fully charge to 100%

    I got the notebook connected to the power connector
    I found it to only hold up to 95%
    anyone know whats wrong?:confused:

    No, nothing wrong. See this Apple Technical Note and this Apple tech note.

    Your computer charges to 100% and then slowly discharges. It will oscillate between 95 and 100%.

    Try X-Charge. It will show a graph of how your computer charges and discharges over time. It should work fine on the MBP, but I could be wrong.

    Calibrate your battery. Let it run on the battery until it goes to sleep, and then recharge it.

    Ok, I got X-Charge
    but the graph on that program also says the charge is only at 95%...:eek:

    but are you saying that once the battery was 100%, now its just discharging and the macbook won't recharge it until..say..less than 95%?

    Yes, It will only trickle charge until 95 or 93%, then it will full charge, and then slowly discharge.

    You really need to Calibrate your battery. your battery, if you haven't. The MBP directions are a little different that I gave. See link.
