I've been quite lucky and thought that I had no serious heat related problems with my MacBook. It does get hot but the fans seem to run a little more frequently after installing the firmware updates.

However, I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the screen surround is starting to come away from the display along the bottom edge (where the word 'MacBook' is printed). The worst point is just to the left of the word 'MacBook', where it looks a bit warped and is about 1mm or so clear of the screen.

I've not seen any other reports of this particular issue, has anyone else experienced the same problem?

I'm worried about it... With the vents were they are in a macbook - we are blowing all that heat right onto the display... I wonder what long term heating will do to mine?

No I do not, but I've read other concerns of the forum... Try to look around...
