Well, the other day something fell on my macbook right to the right of the trackpad, and it feel pretty hard. :( Everything seems fine however my computer is running significantly slower, Im getting the beack ball alot, safari is crashing and things just are not responding. Does anyone know if this has anything to do with something falling on, a way to cehck if anything was damaged, and does anyone happen to know what is under there?
    Thanks alot

Ooh, that's a bad spot. Under the trackpad is the hard drive and very close to the RAM modules. I would recommend getting it checked out by an Apple specialist just to ensure nothing has been unseated or damaged.

Ugh, great. :( Is it possible to check ones self? and one mroe things safari really doesnt seem to like Vbulletin today, it crashes at any forum site run by it. This is really worrying me. I need this computer to run. Also the nearest apple store is about 2 hours away but there is a compusa in town. I know that the Harddrive and ram are user upgradeable so shouldnt i be able to check inside and make sure at least the ram is ok?

Hm. I didnt see it, though last night i was frantically trying to back everything up and the first file i try i get the error sayin part of the file cant be read or written, so i try another same thing. Im guessing my harddrive got hurt a bit. :(
