I was just wondering about the "status" of MR accounts. Under everyone's name it says something like macrumors newbie, macrumors regular (me), and then there are macrumors 603 or whatever number. These numbers always seem to start with a 6 and are long or short. What do they mean?

Also, could someone maybe post a chart showing each rank in order, a description, and the amount of posts you need to achieve that ranking?

    Thanks,
    Joe

Thanks guys. Does anyone know what these numbers actually mean? Or are they just random?

They're based on processors which Apple have used I think.

I'm sure searching would answer these questions. They've been asked a million quadrillion times. They're the names of the processors that have been in various Macs (in roughly chronological order).
