Wow! Especially for MS Office in which Excel is missing VBA. Simply Wow! ;)

    WOW is right!

I will be camping out tonight in hopes of getting in the Keynote tomorrow. However, I won't be able to get my Badge until tomorrow morning when they open at 6 am. I have a friend who will be saving my place in line. Will I have enough time?

    Thanks in advance!

I read that attendance is up to 50,000, compared to 40,000 last year.

Can you all pose for one big group photo? :D

malvord: I am doing the exact same thing. I plan to stay in the keynote line until 6am, then going over to get my badge. What time are going to get in line for the keynote? I hope the line doesnt look like that at 6am, I want to grab my badge as fast as possible and jump back into the line. I will be going with a friend early, who will save my spot when I go get my badge.

I was in the line this morning in between 8 and 9am. However, I didn't see any nerd in line.... but I know what you meant there.

    amazingly diverse

This being my first Macworld, I have never been to a large gathering of Mac users in this setting before. I have to say that I was amazed and surprised by the diversity of the crowd in line. Although the pickup of Mac usage in colleges is always being promoted, everywhere you looked there were people of all ages, races, sexes, etc...

Lining up tomorrow should be good as well.

    What A Cluster!!!!

    Man oh man..

This is my first year to mac world expo, and my first empresion on day one...

    What a cluster F!!!!!

No one seems to have a freaking clue what is going on. Everyone working the event is clueless. I asked for a program and was told they will not be available until Wednesday!!!!! WTF is that>> By then its too late.

No one knew where the Office even was. I was told to go to the second floor, only to find more clueless people npt knowing what the day at the office was.

How can you put on a major event like this year after year and screw things up this bad?

And before you ask, i have run MANY large events and these types of mistakes are made by rookies.

I give two thumbs down to IGN or who ever is putting this poorly ran event together.
