    Wow, that would be an amazing scanner! i wonder how much it would cost... 36 ppm is no small feat!

    You can get the PC version of the hardware here:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16838115018
    for 399, and then get a $50 rebate from Fujitsu.

    The hardware is the same as the Mac version, except that it is gray and silver, and the Mac version is white. Then you download the Mac drivers.

    I have been using the PC hardware with the Mac driver for about 4 months with no problems.

    Also, the 36 ipm assumes that you want both sides of a page. The scanner actually scans 18 letter-size pieces of paper per minute, but it scans both sides at the same time. That is where the 36 ipm comes from. If you only want one side of each page, you will get 18 pages per minute.
