Last blurb I saw said that Selleck was playing Magnum. Can you imagine anyone else in the part?

Jim Carrey? George Clooney? Milla Jovovich?

It's gonna be a difficult sell. Dukes of Hazzard was disapointing - the best scenes starred the General Lee. Willy Wonka was pretty good. Magnum P.I. is gonna be tough, though.

Selleck is going to play Magnum!

Ouch - that's going to be weird - he'll have to loose a little weight and then some.

Here's to hoping they don't ruin the show.

Myself, I'm cynical. I'm imagining Magnum in an Audi TT, Higgins being written out of the movie and Rick being played by some god awful person from an American Pie movie.

And if they mess with the theme song ...

I'm still a Magnum P.I. fan. I doubt I'll go see it, but it'll be worth a DVD rental. Is everyone still alive from the original cast?

Having seen the big screen versions of The Dukes of Hazzard and Starsky and Hutch I'm not going to get too excited...

Selleck's weight and age don't matter, because lets face it, people are only gonna be interested in that crazy cool moustache of his.
