    Hi there

I'm installing the Vanilla forum on my server, which has Apache, PHP and MySQL all installed.

In the setup section, I've successfully entered username and password, but it says it can't find the SQL database. This is apparently because I havn't made a blank SQL database.

HOW DO I DO THIS??!?! There isn't anything in the internet that explains it...

    Many thanks!

You need to go to your phpMyAdmin (you can usually get there from your cPanel on your sites server http://example.com/cpanel)

    it's quite straightforward from there.

somebody will probably explain in a lot more detail after this but that should help you out i think...
