    Don't taunt the virus writers please! ;) If we could stay just under the radar that would be just fine with me.

    i didn't switch because of a lack of viruses/spyware/related shtuff, i switched cause well...it's one of those things where you have to use it to get it. i switched cause macs are awesome.

    You said it! Macs rock! Anyhow...somethign constructive to go in this thread. Erm...well. I love my mac...mainly becasue of the look of amazement all my friends give when they see it for the first time! ;) :D

    Clearly, the virus writers are starting to get smart. I reckon they'll come up with something that will have the antivirus companies stumped for a while sooner or later.

    Virus vs. Antivirus is an unwinnable arms race, and right now Virus has the advantage...

    true, but dont the antivirus companies tend to hunt down the smartest virus writers and then employ them? after all, money always tends to come first in these sorts of things..right?

    never take computer security for granted. you shouldn't think of os x as a secure product. there isn't such thing as a secure product. security is a process.

    Good point. The AV companies do hire virus writers sometimes.
