I got a Mac Mini @ the weekend & it installed the OS at boot.

I wanted to make a dvd of the OS so I could reinstall if I needed to but having looked around the net I can only find instruction on how to do this if you have downloaded the OS dmg from the app store.

Can someone tell me how to do this from the situation I'm in atm?

    Ta

You have the recovery Partition if you need to reinstall it, and if your hard drive dies simply hold cntrl R at start up with a new HD installed to force download and install of Lion over the Internet. If you still want to have a copy here's really the Only way of doing it without purchasing a copy or downloading off a torrent.

You can find the documents via google. So do not tell us, you do not know how you can do it.

Not only. You want obviously more problems than necessary.
