Anyone else notice Map Quest using a huge amount of CPU on Safari? My activity monitor shows it using 90%!

Yep. Google Maps can be pretty nasty that way too. Keep Camino or Firefox around for sites like that until Safari can finally get its scripting act together.

This has to be put off to an AOL problem rather than to a Safari problem. AOL underwrites the opensource Mozilla project as the premier standards-based web client developer. However, its own sites seem to be developed by brain-dead webmasters who code to specific browsers rather than W3C standards.
