    Hello,

I was wondering if any of you guys knew where I could find a copy of Max Payne for my Macintosh.

I prefer to buy via paypal. Ebay has none. Humph.

Max Payne is out for Macs right?

It is indeed out. I bought at the Apple Store for $20 about a week or two after I got my PowerBook. Runs fine with native res (1280x854) and (almost) everything on high.

Great game. The FIRST Max Payne came out for the Mac in April 2003, so coming up on 2 years ago. I am still hoping for Max Payne to to be ported to the Mac, though I enjoyed it on my playstation.

Not sure if you know about the games section of Apples website, but it is at:

    www.apple.com/games

You can see a good list of games for the Mac here:

    http://www.apple.com/games/features/

And, the Max Payne section here:

    http://www.apple.com/games/articles/2002/07/maxpayne/

Somewhere on that page there should be a "buy now" button, and you can order it straight from Apple usually if you can't find it anywhere else.

It is an older game, and is not taxing on current machines.

    Cheers!

    James

    Joystick Help

Just bought a Logitech Attack3 joystick and I can't get it to work with Max Payne. It's listed in the USB System Profile. Anyone help???

I don't think this was worth digging an old thread up for...

anyways, is Max Payne supposed to support gamepads and such?

No, but if you use USB Overdrive or Gamepad Companion, you could probably fake it.
