maximum ram in the new intel macs

    Simple question. What is the maximum amount of ram that CAN be put in these computers. Of course Apple says 2GB but is it possible to push that limit. I for one would think that this hardware is quite capable of supporting more than just 2GB unless someone higher up went through the trouble of putting a cap in there.

    The limit is 4GB, but the RAM will not run at the full 667MHz speed in a 2x2GB configuration.

    The chipset should however support 4GB, and the OS should recognize it.
