Mario Party 8 should NOT have sold so many copies....I bought one of those copies, but it was not nearly as good as past Mario Parties

I'm happy seeing Forza doing well. I played the full version yesterday (and built a car that looks like a Duracell battery ) with the racing wheel and thought it was a pretty nifty game. Minutely better than the original, which was near on perfect to begin with.

I'm surprised Wii Play sold that many, I don't know anyone who has it around here... I guess all those people who were buying extra wiimotes just spent the extra $10 and got a game with it

I wanted to see forza sell more. It's such a great game, but it seems like the majority of people on live only wanna play FPS...

Exactly right on folks buying it to get a Wiimote on the cheap. I did. Then today found out I got more on trade in for the game at gamestop than the difference in just buying a controller...they're buying used Wii Play without the wiimote so why not buy a bunch of Wii plays and actually save a few bucks? Just sell the game by itself to some moron and get the savings on the mote.

Obviously Nintendo is raking in the cash money!

I wonder how many of those 360 were extended warranty replacements through the retailer. I think my store swapped out about 10 defective exchanges on 360 in May.

The PS3 sales are not terrible, just not anything to brag about either. Luckily they still have PS2!

As far as NGC - I'm hearing they're going for cheap at the used game shops and a lot of people are buying them...

Yeah...too bad those numbers probably don't show up. They have NGC's here for 50 bucks or less at reputable places and around 20 bucks at the pawn shops. Really good deal for those that missed out on the system.

I'm actually thinking that throws some of these figures off quite a bit. There are people buying used 360's so their number is higher. Same with some games...there are 10 used copies of Zelda at my GameStop...who's going to pay full price with their buy two get one free used game promotion? The only new Wii game I've bought is Brain Age and Wiisident Evil...all the others don't go on records I think as I bought them used....
