I've got an Intuos3 tablet which I'm using as a mouse replacement on my MacBook.

In the past week, I've had some funny stuff happening, which is reproducible:

If I right-click on an icon on the Desktop and move it to trash, all subsequent clicks on the Dock opens apps in Finder, rather than launching them.

The only way to get rid of this behavior, and back to normal, is to log out and then back in.

I've tried disabling/enabling the tablet, as well as killing the wacom and Finder plists.

Anyone have any ideas? BTW, the system is 10.4.8, with all patches/updates installed.

    Tks.

Do you have the latest software update from Wacom's website? I recently had some problems with my Intuos3 on my Mac Mini. I found out there is a fairly recent update for the Intuos3 on Wacom's website and everything returned to normal once I installed it.

This should be the link to it:

Hope that helps. The driver came out in early December for later versions of OS X and didn't even come with the new Intuos3 I have.

Hmm.... I thought I had that update, but it seems I didn't. Thanks for the pointer, looks like the problem has gone away :)
