So, I got my MBA, was happy, powered on, and no noise at all.

I worked it up while setting the configurations, and noticed it got progressively hotter, up to the point where the keys were hot to the touch, and no fan noise even then. So I installed iStat pro, and the fan meter showed 0 RPM. I proceeded to the battery calibration and reset, and nothing :(

So I rebooted and ran the Diagnostics app. The short test throwed an exhaust error

So, I'm having my MBA replaced, and of course it will be more than 2 weeks until I get the new one :(

Anyone else had this same problem?

Did you purchase from a store or online?

If you purchased from the store, I'd take it back and pressure them to replace it on the spot. If they won't do anything, press to return it without the restocking fee as it's defective!

They should replace it with minimal hassle.

Online, as there are no Apple Stores anywhere near my place :(

No problem though, called them, they gave me two options: bring it to my local repair centre, or return it and get another (or simply return and get a refund). Since I pushed the MBA some (played a 720p movie for more than half an hour), I was afraid I might have overheated something, so I asked for a new one.
