I got my new c2d macbook pro just a couple days ago and i decided to run the battery calibration today. the only thing is i didn't quite follow the instructions exactly.

I left my computer plugged in for two hours after it was fully charged, then i put it to sleep, took it home, then turned it on again and let the battery fully drain.

does it matter that i didn't unplug the computer while it was still on, and then let it drain down like the instructions say?

Nah, that sounds fine. If you're really worried you can strictly follow these instructions and do it again. I don't think this is necessary though. :)
