MBP & MBP C2D X1600 monitor rotation?

    can anyone with a MBP tell me if you can rotate an external monitor into portrait view in OSX ? I think this is mainly dependant on the graphics card ... there is a setting in tiger under "displays" - I think.

    portrait mode on an external monitor is great for editing photos taken in portrait view, and is good for word processing too!

    Oh yeah, i think you need to have an external monitor connected for the option to become available.

    Yes, this works fine on my brand new MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo. Via the display control panel, I've flipped the screen up, down and sideways, so it should work fine!
