If the specs of the RAM meet the requirements of your Macintosh, then technically yes all RAM is compatible with Apple... BUT... some brands have been known to not be so friendly with Apple products. Example, I bought some Corsair RAM for my Macbook Pro, and it caused a bunch of kernal panics, so I definitely switched it up.

Just a friendly and welcoming word of advice, you don't need to post multiple times when you have question about something. Be warned, if you keep posting multiple threads when people here haven't answered you in the time you wish, you will get blasted, and you will get the dreaded "why dont you try to the search feature" line. Remember, people wont respond so quickly so just be patient. Other than that, welcome to MacRumors

Have a look at the MacRumors Guide for buying memory. It should answer your questions. And don't forget to test the memory as soon as you get it.

    Good luck!
