I've always thought Microsoft was evil, but perhaps there's a glimmer of goodness. Hopefully, they'll stand their ground and won't cave in to the blackshirts at the DOJ.

Nope. They stood their ground when it came to the monopoly thing. They rolled over on this one without so much as a complaint. Let alone a fight. As did Yahoo and AOL. Google is the only one who stood up to them it seems, but they didn't seem to mind complying with China's rules.

M$ is actually still fighting the monopoly thing, as someone has decided to actually (finally) start enforcing the ruling made back when Clinton was pres.

Ahhh, then I must have been seriously intoxicated for misreading that. Nevermind, they're still evil.

Now, why do I get the feeling that happens quite often?

It would take one to know one... :p

And now you'll have to pardon me while I crack open this bottle of Santa Barbara County 2003 Rancho Sisquoc Cabernet/ Merlot blend.

It's ok. We all want to believe the best in people. Even M$, or Bush. Once bitten though, and all.
