    I see that Microsoft has chosen to out source just like Heinz. That will certainly cause their $6b to go farther. :(

    BTW: Outsourcing low end jobs is the future of our economy its been happening for the last 30 years, what we need is smarter people on our side of the pond that keep the jobs that pay here, its going to keep happening no matter what we do, so lets prepare.

    MS is fundamentally a good company but capitalism likes competition and that doesn't bode well for a company with way too much market-share.

    Microsoft hiring 7,000? Wow, they really ARE having problems getting Virtual PC 7 working! :D

    No doubt. That's the perfect response for my Mom, who earlier sent me this in reaction to the M$ hiring announcement:

    Old Saying: "Confront the enemy instead of running from it."

    ... since I'm looking for work. Her son-in-law works for M$ and she's about as likely to be an Apple/Mac switcher as switch from the Republican party. Or me work for M$. ;)
