Speaking of Rendezvous, we installed Mandrake Linux the other day for our web apps class. I was quite surprised when the setup assistant offered Zeroconf (Rendezvous) as a configuration option. Apple's technology is getting out there :)

Rendezvous is Apple's rendition of Zeroconf, which is a rather old technology created by the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force).

It is, however, the most mainstream rendition yet.
