I'm looking to sell my MacBook Air, I have the apple SuperDrive to go with it.
    It's the 13", 4GB RAM, 1.7GHz i5 processor. 128GB storage.

I've looked on eBay but cannot find any selling. I'm looking for a rough idea really. What do you guys recommend selling it for? A friend is interested in it.

    Thanks.

Please don't delete this thread, I'm not looking to sell or advertise it on here, just after a price guide..which I cannot find.
    Cheers

If it was the 2012 model, it would retail for $1280. But it is old and used. How is the condition?

Excellent: Roughly, I would say, 725-775 USD.

    Thanks. It's immaculate..

I was thinking £700-750 on eBay. (I'm UK by the way)
But said I'd knock off fees if he wanted it..which would be more like £650-675 cash I guess. Which seems too low lol

For comparison, I just sold my 2011 11'' MBA with 4GB RAM, 1.6 GHZ i5, and 128GB storage for around $740 on eBay. Not sure what that would convert to in pounds, but you get the jist. You could probably expect to fetch around $50-$125 more than what I got because they are very similar computers. Good luck!

Ahh cheers. I think I'm pushing it but I'm going in at £800...does come with the SuperDrive aswel though.
    See how that goes.

It's funny. I had a Mac mini and an iPad 2 back when that 1st came out. I then sold them for the MacBook Air but just got an iPad mini and want the mac mini back lol. The air is used mainly for music, films, iPhoto. I don't take it out with me, so the Mac mini for media and iPad mini for portability is what suits me best. ...which I had. :smacks forehead:

A guy just sold me that model in Glasgow for £500. With or without the SuperDrive, £800 is far too much, you can buy the refurb 2012 model with full warranty for £849.

Surely gotta be £600-700? £500 would hardly be worth me selling it.

I said 725-775 USD. 500 Euro is about 771 USD, so I would say more like 550-575 Euro. The thing is, is has Sandy Bridge, HD 3000 (60% slower than 4000) and no USB 3.0. Those are some serious concerns which impact the buying price.
