Migrating .me to icloud when me is apple id

Hello All,

my apple id is also a .me.com and therefore i run into the problem that i cannot setup icloud with ios5 iphone.

I get the message that my me account is not migrated to icloud yet.

I read the instructions and it always states how to setit up when me is not apple id...

Please help!!!

Your userid@me.com is a Apple ID. However, you are not allowed to use the MM Apple ID's for iCloud ID's yet. In the future you will be able to Upgrade your MobileMe Account to an iCloud Account but not yet.

If you want to use iCloud now "and" you want to use email you would need a new me.com address. Within the Dev Web Site it talks about how to migrate from your current me.com address to the new one but you can't "upgrade" yet.
