Same. Except the arm hair snag thing. But, I'm a woman.

I've got a 38mm SS WSB arriving tomorrow. I ordered two types to make sure I got my son his birthday gift on time and he likes the 38mm SS BCB that arrived yesterday, so I'm going to keep the new SS WSB and return my SS ML.

I like the feel of my husband's sport band, so I'm looking forward to using one of them.

I'll likely buy a Modern Buckle band for a more dressy look. If Apple ever actually sell them.

Good to know. Thanks for the comments everyone. Looks like the Milanese stays on the shopping list.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. My wrist and arm area is definitely giving me a dull pain when wearing the watch but it must be down to the raise to wake wrist motion and the fact I'm more conscious of something being there that needs more than just a millisecond look! Lets see how it goes over the next week. Have to say though still love the look and feel of the Milanese despite my aches!

I just got my Milanese loop in the mail. I'm wearing it now and though it's a smidge lighter than the white sport band, I don't think it's as comfortable. It's actually a little itchy, maybe that's just me? I do love how it's infinitely adjustable though, especially as someone whose sweet spot is often between the holes in the sport band. I have to wear it for at least a day before I can make any conclusions, though.

Sounds good - Please do report your findings after wearing it for a day or so, particularly around how often you need to tighten / adjust it during the day.

I love my Milanese loop band, I find that I don't have to adjust it, if my wrist expands, it moves enough to not strangle my wrist and being able to adjust it to fit me just right is excellent. I have had many watches that I gave up on wearing because they had to be either too tight or too loose, but with the ML I find that I can get it just the right tightness to keep the watch in place without pain. I have yet to find any pain in my wrist and I've had my watch since the 24th!

I've had no issues like this with mine. It's very comfortable.

First day with mine and it could not be a better experience. Only caveat is that it really needs a stand.

Wow, I just realized that I've probably been wearing my watches incorrectly since third grade. I usually wear link bracelets too which are less forgiving and I also sleep with it on. My links go right over the knob. This week I stopped wearing a watch for the first time since I first put one on. It has been very weird feeling. Like my arm is naked. First of all I think my watch knew I was replacing it because one of the link pins broke (two per link, so it was still holding on somewhat). Then a few weeks later the thing just stopped accurately telling time. Maybe the battery was just dying, but I've never had it start and stop like this before. It was making me really late sometimes if I wasn't closely paying attention.

Anyway, so where my watch was I actually have a dent in my arm compared to my other arm. Even days later after I stopped wearing it. I didn't do a good job adjusting links over time. Even my skin has a really weird texture where the watch used to be, especially on the underside of my wrist. Since my SS 42mm loop isn't coming until June I figure I can finally let my arm repair itself. I'm even missing a lot of hair there since I wore watches well before puberty and maybe it somehow disrupted it? It's quite apparent when looking at my wrist that a watch is missing. It's pretty hilarious actually. Maybe I can finally start wearing a watch properly without it being too tight when I get my milanese loop.

I do have to wonder if the reason some people have trouble and others don't is because of different sized wrists. Depending on the wrist size the magnetic part will be in a different position. I would hypothesize that if the magnet is on the side then it's less likely to be knocked off while working on a computer, etc. But on the bottom it's more likely to encounter friction.

Ditto. Mine doesn't slide at all. Easy to adjust as needed for fluctuation in wrist size by sliding the magnet. Love it.

I found the reverse. I got my watch with a ML and received my second band, a white sport band, last week. After wearing the sport band for a day and finding it less comfortable than the ML, I returned it.

My problems with the sport band were a) that doesn't breath, so even the slightest amount of sweat ended up leaving my wrist red and irritated; and b) If I had it tight enough for the HR sensors to work reliably, it dug into my skin where it folded under.

It certainly sounds like you are wearing it too tightly

My wrist, forearm and elbow pains continue on both arms while wearing the ML with my SS watch. Not sure what to do. Wonder if the watch or the strap are defective and giving off some sort of electro reaction! Quite gutted at the moment.

I actually arranged to return my ML additional after 1 week today.

After having to wear the sport strap for 2 weeks before it shipped, the sport strap is so much more comfortable for me and I don't think the ML is worth the extra money.

I had the occasional arm hair get trapped too!

Maybe i'll get a link bracelet with the AW2.

You should sell it on eBay. I sold mine for $325.

And I bought it from you! Selling mine on Ebay as soon as I get it from Apple.

I find it to be the most comfortable of the Apple bands. I tried them all on.

Weirdly, they're not selling that well on eBay in the UK - admittedly there aren't many on there, but they're all below retail at the moment!

After having the watch for nearly 3 weeks now and trying various methods of wearing the band I have put the issue down to the Stainless Steel Case with Milanese Loop combination. It's must be something to do with the way the case and band sits on your wrist and possibly the strength of the magnet as there are others with similar problems :

    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7026458?start=15&tstart=0

    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7029361?start=45&tstart=0

I appreciate this is not effecting everyone but as many others with the issues report the same problem it seems for some of us unlucky ones this combo wont work.

I am now going to wait for my sport band to come and get rid of the ML and if the problem still persists will unfortunately have to sell the device despite really loving its functionality.

For your information today I have not worn my AW and have got on my previous usual timepiece and the pain as instantly gone with no odd sensations from my wrist to elbow!

If anyone from the UK is willing to sell their 42mm Milanese loop I'd be very interested! I'd need it by the 22nd and would offer a good price!

No problem. Surprised CEX bought it for £200. Means they likely sell it for a lot more... or try to at least.

Yeah they're currently selling for £240! They're also buying stainless steel faces for £600 and selling for £700!

CEX prices just seem to keep on rising - fuelled by Apples inability to ship bands.

I bought a Black Sport band for £42 from them 2 weeks ago - now they are selling them for £60.

Interesting that they have some steel link bands in stock - that was fast. Definitely not tempted though.
