Mini DVI -> Video Adapter

I was lookinginto the mini-dvi to vga adapter and could only find one on apple store.. BUT

It says its only for use with the Powerbook G4??

Couldn't find anything with regards to Macbook compatibility..

Am I missing something? Have any other macbook owners connected the video adapter and had any problems?

I saw one on ebay, but the seller was selling it was he said they were not compatible with intel macs..?

Apple are rubbish at keeping that part of their site up to date, they should work with the Macbook and Intel iMac (I've tested with a Macbook)
