minidisplay to vga

    I connected using the above to my LG led screen and so far its great.
    I use it to show off photos etc.
    However, i notice that there is a small vertical black bar on left of actual screen its as if, it needs an monitor adjust sometimes you get.
    Not sure how to correct that or how to go about it. The LG rez shows the full 1920hd.
    any advice.

    Check the video settings on the TV. It sounds like you don't have one to one pixel mapping on.

    Have a look at this image at 100% zoom on your screen. Look in particular at the two right hand columns, the lines should clearly alternate between black and white, if there's any blurring at all then you don't have 1:1 pixel mapping on.

    ok the image looked fine on led screen.
    This didnt happen on my normal 1080i lcd screen but it was using a normal displayport to vga from imac.

    i couldnt find the one to one pixel mapping tho
