The left side of my trackpad dips down lower than the right side.
Is that normal? It's my first mac so I'm not sure, the right side is close to flush. Is this something I can fix myself? And if not will I be charged if going to the apple store to get it corrected?

My casing also tends to creak so I guess if they can fix it I kill two birds with one stone =)

It's relatively normal after some wear and tear. The Genius Bar at the Apple Store will likely be able to fix it (since it's just a screw underneath the batter).

Would I have to pay a fee? If so I would probably be better off buying the driver from ifixit for any future problems.

If it's still under warranty, no.
