There's some anecdotal evidence emerging that upgrading to ML is resulting in an automatic recalibration of some LCD panels. This seems to be particularly noticeable in LG panel-equipped MacBook Airs, about which many have complained in the past. Out of the box running Lion these have appeared washed-out compared to Samsung panel-equipped examples, requiring a manual calibration (there are several Colorsync profiles being circulated to address this). http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1389918&page=24 Upon upgrading to ML, the default calibration is strikingly superior, suggesting that something is going on under the hood here. What do you reckon?
