from day 1, ML has had really slow shutdown times with me. Around 15secs, sometimes more.
I've done all the standard procedures (permissions, disk errors, maintenance scripts) but nothing seems to help.
I don't have "resume" turned on.
Today, I tried booting in verbose mode to check if there was any process hanging on shutdown and I found out that the system tries to terminate the com.apple.diskarbitraiond several times (between 5 and 7) before it finally shuts down.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
