Modding Finder Toolbar

I want to customize my homefolder Icon and the computer icons in the Finder toolbar. This was easy in 10.1.5. Just open the finder apps package contents and replace the toolbar icons in the resources folder. But in 10.2 they are not there, but they MUST be somewhere, but I can't find them. I'm like "What? Apple doesn't want us doing this?" Anyway, has anyone successfully customized their home folder and computer toolbar icons in 10.2? Where are those .icns files kept???

how do u make a .icns? assuming you already have the images for it
