My mom is thinking about switching and getting a macbook, but she still wants to be able to run windows. What is the deal with Vista and Bootcamp. Can we still get XP?

yes if you use bootcamp you'll be able to partion your harddrive one side for mac and one side with XP. You need to have a FULL VERSION of XP!! with SERVICE PACK 2. You should be good to go just follow the directions from the bootcamp website

It's perfectly possible, but I think for performance reasons you should stick with XP on a Macbook.
