    Hi
Ive jusy upgrade fron a G4 to a G5 dual core
I run logic audio and have used 2 x LG L1715S Monitors (VGA) on my G4
with the built in card and a Radion 9200 and the monitor colour was great.
Ok !! not as good as the Mac monitors but i can't afford them !!
I have plugged in the same monitors on the G5, one in the ADC slot with a ADC-VGA converter and one in the DVI slot with the DVI-VGA converter that comes with the G5.
The monitor colour is terrible and very blue !!!!.

    Anybody got any suggestions ??

    Thanks

Depending on how blue is terribly blue, you might look at:

    1) (I think more likely) there's a lose connection, or bad cable or adapter

    2) (I think less likely) you can resolve this by calibrating the two screens.

i had the same problem with past G5 and current MacPro. mine shows up very green instead of blue.

the fix was to shake/realign the converter, cuz somehow the pins don't get good connections. keep adjusting it until the color is fixed.
