More Intel roadmap info

    Thanks for the link. The article looks interesting to say the least, but I haven't read through it all yet. It may turn out to be another "no new information actually revealed" piece.

    Imagine having a couple of those in a Power Mac though. 16 cores!!

    It would be fantanstic if Intel can actually deliver on their Roadmap, this time, as I've seen a number of things from them in the past and unfortunately quite often the much promised future takes longer than expected.

    Their roadmap looks very promising at the moment though. I can see why Apple chose them above AMD et al, I am also excited for the first time about Intel Macs. The future could be very rosy indeed, (no rosetta puns please :)).

    in 2 years we will all be waiting for the rumors of 8 core PowerMacs at MWSF 2008, sweet!

    Dual 8 core, with HT technology = effectively 32 cores :eek:

    Someone will still want to compare to their G3 PowerMac though.
