most annoying things about appletv...

just got an appletv. i love it. kind of wish i was tech savvy enough to figure out the jailbreak, but oh well.

the most annoying thing for me is when i use the remote to control the appletv, it also turns things on in my itunes on my MBP. is there anyway i can make my computer ignore the appletv remote.

On your Mac:

System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Click the lock to make changes -> Disable remote control infrared receiver.

If you also want to control the Mac with a different remote control you can, you just need to pair each remote to the Mac or the ATV.
