I would like to know if anyone has run Motion 2 on a PowerBook or iMac G5 and can report on it's performance. Specifically, what are your specs (RAM, GPU)? And it is "fast enough" on these two machines, in your opinion? Or is it difficult to work with b/c it requires so much from the GPU?

The reason I ask is that I am running Motion 1 on a PowerBook (1.25 Ghz, 1 GB, 64 MB GPU)... It's a little slow, to say the least. I am considering purchasing an iMac G5. But before I upgrade to Motion 2, I'd like to know if any users have had experience with it on these machines. In other words, if Motion 2 performance on an iMac is terrible, I might consider getting a PowerMac, but that is a bigger investment.

Yeah, anyone run it on a Rev A 1.8Ghz iMac, bad graphics card and all? If I fed it plenty of RAM would it be able to digest Motion 2? I've heard there are speed improvements in 2, but how drastic are they?
