So, I got a Galaxy S4 and upgraded to iTunes match. I still have some songs that are a "Protected AAC audio file." Is there no way for me to get a DRM free version of these songs? And, should these be the ONLY songs that won't be DRM free? I wish I never bought crap on iTunes so I wouldn't have this issue.

    Thanks.

Delete the copy of the songs in question from your HDD and then re-download through Match.

That's what I did with all of the files which showed as bring protected. I downloaded them all, now these remain and are still "protected."

Weird. So, when I delete those protected songs from my library, automatically showing in my iTunes library now are AAC audio file versions of all those songs which do not indicate they are protected.

    Whatever.

    Hope this works.
