I've owned MTX amps for my car stereos. I recommend against them. Not only did the amps fail on me several times, but when I sent one in the first time (under warranty), the 6-8 week turnaround turned into over 16 weeks without any apology. Same amp now blows fuses like nobody's business; the troubleshooting section in the owners guide merely says "send for repair".

    MTX iThunder

Sorry, i respectfully disagree with the previous poster. I have had very good service from MTX in the past.

And as for the iThunder, I listen to the one we have nearly every day. Like it alot, sounds good at nearly every volume level, and is easy to use. The 80's funky carry-along look is great! I have heard that a pink one is in the works, and my daughter can't wait to get one.

    Just my $.02... :)
