I'm looking for a universal Instant messager client that supports AIM, Yahoo, MSN, Jabber, etc.

Any recommendations - it can be free or pay - any advice would be appreciated.

    Regards,

Very good instant messaging program. Takes a while to get used to from MSN Messenger, but once you get used to it, everything seems better.

I would also recommend Adium. Was skeptical at first but like it much better than MSN.

    Semi on-topic:

Is there anything that works with MSN Messenger for video chat?

I want to utilize the built in i-sight but all my friends have MSN Messenger.

It'll run through X11, but I don't know why you'd want to do that. Supposed to be a good program though.
