This right here, what you are reading now, is my 2000th post since joining MacRumors back on January 14th... I was looking into getting one of the new 'headless Macs' (the Mac mini) and decided to sign up.

Since then, I've read a lot of posts, spent a lot of time here, and hopefully added some value to the forums. And I've bought a Mac mini, an iPod, a PowerBook G4, and a LOT of accessories for each of them... and I'm actually getting pretty good at this Mac stuff. Not bad for an ex-Microsoftie, huh? (Please don't start with the anti-Microsoft stuff, though. Even though I no longer work there, I owe most of where I am now to the opportunities they presented me over 10 years of working there.)

    :)

    Yes?

Still using the same one. It's very solidly built.

    That's because you are a n00b. ;)

    Thanks very much!

None. (Except for maybe the one before this, I'm not sure...)

    Congratulation!

I recently rounded the 3333 milestone... :) but didn't make a thread of it because these threads tend to get wastelanded pretty soon... ;) :

Of course, if this thread gets classed as spamming and wastelanded, it'll put you below 2000 posts again... :p

    Oh stop being modest. :)

All of us here at MR are productive members (well, at least most of us are- I don't tend to always have good advice/info). ;)

I can be a demigod by getting a mug?

    is this mug microwave safe?

I'd like to make soup in this aforementioned mug!

I would be willing to part with $20 for a mug and the betterment of MR.

MUGS ARE AWESOME! and Apple-related mugs are even better.

    Mugitty mug mug mug!
