So, I KNOW for a fact that my AirPort card works. I've been using it under Tiger for the last two years with no issues on my 466. However, I just downgraded to OS 9 and it's giving me a "status not available" error, but the bars at the bottom are all green.

Maybe due to the firmware? Works fine with a ethernet cable plugged in.

The original AirPort cards only support WEP, so you'll need to setup your base station accordingly. Too bad there is no way to get WPA or WPA2 on the original AirPort cards, otherwise my clamshell would see more use too!

The original Airport cards do support WPA on 10.3.9. One of the few B cards to support it as well.
