Well if it's your router then you need to work on that. If it's the aTV you can go and have it replaced. Would not make sense to replace aTV if it's the router and vice versa.But how will the previous step make my AirPlay work again? I hope I'm not sounding ungrateful

Sorry if I sound dumb. But then I could just turn off the router and see if airplay works again? But like I said before the VLC app works, so that eliminates it being the router?Yep. If the system works with router eliminated but doesn't when it's in place, then it's the router that needs replacement.
