i try to run youtube un my ibook and it dosent work someone know the solution tks alot
Can you give a little more information?
What version of OSX are you using?
What browser are you using?
Do you have Flash installed?
I'm afraid you may be out of luck. An iBook may not be 'powerful' enough to play YouTube videos...Youtube continually upgrades its platform and may have dropped the ability for older hardware to play its videos. Or your software may not be up to date? Or your internet connection may be too slow?
Here are the minimum requirements for YouTube:
Macromedia Flash Player 7.0+ plug-in
Windows 2000 or higher with latest updates installed
Mac OS X 10.3 or higher
Firefox 1.1+, Internet Explorer 5.0+, or Safari 1.0+
Broadband connection with 500+ Kbps
Sorry to say, but welcome to the world of obsolescence my fellow PPC Mac owner. I have a PowerBook G4 (1.5Ghz, 2GB memory, Leopard 10.5.8) and have the same issues.
While I did recently buy a new MacBook Pro, my PowerBook still is my "workhorse" despite it's age. It was (and still is) a great notebook.
