My iPhone isn't eligible for update IOS5 how do I fix that agin?
What iPhone? What IOS version do you have now? What reason does iTunes give for not being eligible?
I realized when I edit text file its keeping format as TXT how do i make it like hosts file
Show file extensions in your folder prefs. I don't know what OS you have or anything, so I can't really help beyond that!
This happened to me because I was running 4.3.4 jailbroken. Just restore to 4.3.5 then to iOS5, that worked for me... assuming your situation is similar.
I've got the same problem
iPhone4.. iTunes says my device (again iPhone4) is not Eligible.. I am running 4.3.3 Jailbroken
How can I update to 4.3.5 prior to going to 5.0 ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit your host file. Tiny umbrella is the easiest way.
if youre mac edit hosts probably gs.apple.com blocked before by jailbreak app
im having the same problem running ios 4.3.5 on my ipad 1 unjailbroken
i have the latest version of snow leopard
where can i find host file? thx
