My mini (ppc g4 1.5ghz) is currently setup to run Apache/Mysql/php (needed to run jinzora) which allows me to stream my music from the mini to any of the computers on the lan (saves me valuable diskspace on my macbook), id have used itunes sharing but becuase jinzora uses a web interface and streams over HTTP i can steam the music any media player that supports the file format and streaming audio (don't like being stuck with just itunes 
)
But i've also decided to hook it up to my stereo and lcdtv in my room for playing music/movies on (its smaller than the dvd player i had and looks nicer)
anyway need some meathord of controlling it when im watching/listening to media locally.
Edit: Might buy Sailing clicker, seems to work quite well.
